Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Uma Carat at umacarat.wiki handles information when you use the site. We keep collection limited to what is needed to provide, understand and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information or send marketing messages.

The short version

  • No account, sign-in or password is required.
  • Your plans, teams, notes and preferences are saved in your browser, not uploaded to our server.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Google Analytics measures visits without receiving your planning data.
  • If you email us, we receive the email address and message you choose to send.
  • We do not run our own advertising. The embedded tutorial is provided by YouTube.

Your plans and browser storage

The calculator stores the planning information you enter on your own device. This includes carats and tickets, income settings, selected banners, notes, teams and display preferences. These values are used by the calculator in your browser and are not sent to Google Analytics or a planning database.

Saved data remains until you remove it or your browser clears its storage. Private browsing, storage limits or a browser reset can remove it. We cannot recover data that has been cleared because we do not have a server copy. Use the export and import controls to keep a backup or move your plans to another browser.

You can inspect and change your plans in the calculator. Delete individual plans in the planner, or clear this site's stored data in your browser settings to remove all local plans and preferences.

Traffic measurement

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and broad device and regional trends. Measurement may include the page path, referring site, browser and device information, approximate location and an analytics identifier. Page measurement excludes URL query strings and fragments, and enhanced measurement features are disabled. It does not include your saved plans, teams, notes, resource balances or email feedback.

Analytics storage is disabled by default for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. In those regions Google Analytics uses its restricted, cookieless measurement mode. Elsewhere analytics cookies may be used. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. There is no cookie confirmation popup.

Google processes measurement information under its privacy policy. You can block analytics through your browser or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare serves the site and its static game data. To deliver pages and prevent abuse, it processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser details and security signals. Its security features may use necessary cookies. These infrastructure requests do not contain your saved planner inputs.

Cloudflare also measures page-load performance through its browser beacon. This records loading and rendering timings and page paths without reading your saved plans or browser storage. The beacon removes URL query strings and fragments from the page and referrer URLs it sends.

Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so technical and measurement information may be processed outside your country. Their own policies explain their processing and safeguards: Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.

Tutorial video and external resources

The homepage shows a locally hosted cover for the community tutorial. The YouTube player is loaded only after you choose Play tutorial. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. Loading and playing the video connects your browser to YouTube and its delivery services. Those services receive technical information needed to provide the player, such as your IP address and browser details; we do not pass your saved plans, teams or notes to them.

Privacy-enhanced mode does not make the player independent of YouTube. YouTube may show non-personalized advertising in the video, and its own privacy policy applies. See YouTube's explanation of privacy-enhanced embeds. If you follow a link to the community spreadsheet or another external resource, that service handles your visit under its own policies.

Email feedback

Feedback links open your email application. Sending a message shares your email address, the message and any attachments with us and the email providers involved. We use that correspondence to answer your request, investigate a bug or correct site data. Please avoid including information that is unnecessary for your request.

Correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and related follow-up. You can ask us to delete it by emailing the same contact address.

Your choices and rights

You control the planning data stored in your browser and can export, edit or delete it yourself. For information you have sent us by email, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy, and ask us to limit its use. Contact contact@umacarat.wiki. We may need enough information to verify that a request relates to your own correspondence.

Depending on where you live, you may also have a right to object to processing or complain to your local data protection authority. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

Changes to this policy

Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes to how the site handles information will also be noted in the Changelog.
